Liz Rowlands spent her formative years in South Wales and currently lives in Maidenhead, where she works for the Civil Service. She has had poems and literary articles published in numerous magazines and has read at poetry festivals in Hastings and Chelmsford. She produced her first poetry collection entitled Entanglement in 1984; this was followed by Trout Minus One in 1993, a collaboration with three fellow Civil Service poets. She is Chairman of the Society of Civil and Public Service Writers Poetry Workshop and has recently become editor of their annual anthology, Waves.
